Denham Springs Kiwanis supports youth leadership programs and community organizations that help children and families learn, grow, and thrive.
Growing Young Leaders
From elementary school through graduation, these programs help young people discover the value of service, leadership, and positive choices.

Denham Springs Elementary K-Kids Club
K-Kids is a student-led service club with members, officers, committee chairs, and adult advisors. The program gives elementary-age students opportunities to organize projects, work together, and begin developing a lifelong commitment to helping others.

Live Oak Junior High Builders Club
Builders Club is a Kiwanis Service Leadership Program for students in their middle years. Members discover their interests and talents, build friendships, and develop the passion to serve, the skills to lead, and the ability to collaborate with others.

Denham Springs and Live Oak Key Clubs
Key Club is an international, student-led organization that empowers high school students to become leaders through service to others. Members gain opportunities to serve, build character, and develop leadership skills.

SADD
SADD—Students Against Destructive Decisions—is a student-led organization that empowers young people to make positive choices and avoid risks such as underage drinking, substance use, distracted driving, and other harmful behaviors through peer education, leadership, and community involvement.
Key Club Scholarships
We award scholarships to outstanding local Key Club members in recognition of their leadership, community service, and academic achievement. These awards help support graduating seniors as they pursue higher education.

Livingston Parish Children’s Choirs
Livingston Parish Children’s Choirs is a community choir program in Denham Springs founded in 1991 by Barbara Walker and Regina Walker. Its leveled choirs serve young singers from kindergarten through high school, teaching musicianship and vocal skills while providing performance opportunities.

Launch Therapy Center
Launch Therapy Center is a local nonprofit providing therapy services to children with disabilities in Livingston Parish. It currently serves more than 400 children while working to expand access through a new Denham Springs facility.

For The One
For The One is a local ministry supporting foster, adoptive, and reunified families by providing free clothing, diapers, hygiene products, and other essentials for children, while also encouraging more local families to consider fostering.

The Family Village
The Family Village is a Livingston Parish nonprofit providing essential resources and case management to children in foster care, children at risk of entering care, and families facing trauma. Its boutique-style closet provides clothing, beds, formula, diapers, and other necessities through partnerships with churches, businesses, and DCFS.
