Entry Categories
- Float — $125
Four walkers for floats up to 20 feet; six walkers for floats over 20 feet. - Vehicle — $125
Two walkers for trucks with riders in the back. - Royalty Rider
$125 for up to five vehicles per entry; $50 for a single-vehicle entry.
- Cycles/ATV — $125
Per group of six. - Walking Group — $125
Includes a lead vehicle when applicable. - Awards
First- and second-place prizes will be awarded for the best float theme and execution. Winners will be announced and awarded at the 1:00 p.m. safety meeting.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will the parade proceed if it rains?
If the parade cannot be held on December 12 due to inclement weather or circumstances beyond the Kiwanis Club’s control, it will be held on an alternate date pending approval.
How can driver documents be provided?
A driver’s license and proof of insurance may be emailed to parade@dskiwanis.org or presented on parade day.
How can fees be paid?
Verified Zeffy payment links are available on the registration and sponsorship pages. Paper entry forms may be paid by check or money order; sponsorship forms may be paid by check. Forms and payments may be mailed to PO Box 8, Denham Springs, LA 70727, or dropped off at any First Guaranty Bank in Livingston Parish.
